Xten Softphone Setup Guide

 

If you have not downloaded an Xten Softphone click here

 

 

Save the file and execute it just as you do with normal software.

If you need further assistance with the installation process click here.

 

After installation, the software will take you to the Audio Tuning Wizard

to tune your microphone and speakers, simply follow the wizard's instructions.

 

 

After tuning, the software will take your new Softphone configuration menu.

If you do not get the window below, please click here for further assistance.

 

 

Double-click on the "Enabled" field to set its value to "Yes".

 

 

Now use the following details to configure your main VoIP account:

Display Name: Enter name to be displayed to called party (optional)
User Name: Enter your IPCall account username (from AllComms)
Auth User: Enter your IPCall account username again as above
Password: Enter your IPCall account password (from AllComms)
Domain/Realm: sip.allcomms.com
SIP Proxy: sip.allcomms.com
Out Bound Proxy: sip.allcomms.com

 

After entering these details, your configuration menu should look like this:

 

 

Now close the configuration window and your Softphone should show like this:

 

 

Now you are ready to make and receive calls to anywhere in the World.

Your calling rates and other features are accessible from your web account.

 

 

When you close the Softphone, you will be asked to choose your preferences.
